Home-based (with monthly travel in the South West for meetings)
Since 1958, International Cat Care (iCatCare) has been advancing the care of cats worldwide by sharing evidence-based expertise, as well as inspiring individuals and communities to drive change in the understanding, treatment and respect of cats.
We have achieved this by providing cat caregivers, veterinary professionals and those working with unowned cats with evidence-based, practical information, and the guidance and support they need to improve cat welfare. With a better understanding of the species and their individual needs, we believe we can change the lives of millions of cats globally.
We are now looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join us on a full-time basis for a two-year fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative marketing and communications professional with excellent copywriting skills and experience of delivering digital campaigns to join our passionate charity.
You'll be helping cat welfare worldwide, reaching and engaging with the people who care for and work with cats, and contributing to a global movement focused on better treatment and respect for our feline companions.
What's more, this is a super flexible role with home working, personalised coaching and bags of support that will enable your professional journey. You'll discover a team that values fresh ideas and collaboration, and you’ll be able to develop your skills while making a positive impact.
As our Marketing and Communications Officer, you will support our marketing and communications activities to raise awareness, engagement and income to help improve cat welfare worldwide.
Specifically, and ideally with a cat on your lap, you’ll create a range of digital marcoms campaigns that speak directly to audiences and drive engagement with our work. You’ll create content, write copy, develop activity schedules and calendars and support the promotion of our educational resources, events and membership opportunities.
You'll even have the chance to contribute to regular communications with key audiences, especially veterinary professionals, whilst supporting our wider team, responding to incoming enquiries and working on initiatives that strengthen awareness of our work.
To be considered as our Marketing and Communications Officer, you will need:
