Job summary

Morrisons in Bridgnorth is seeking a Market Street team leader to drive quality service and vibrant counters. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll lead craft teams, ensure counters are stocked, and champion food maker credentials while putting customers first.

You’ll schedule shifts, coach colleagues, build a positive department culture, manage resources and budgets, and collaborate with other store teams to deliver great value every day.

Qualifications

• Has experience leading, supporting, and bringing out the best in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Is a natural communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge, helping others succeed, and keeping everyone in the loop.
• Builds strong, positive working relationships across the whole store team, staying adaptable and open to new ways of doing things.
• Listens attentively to both customers and colleagues, acting on feedback to make things better every shift.
• Leads and steps up with confidence: Confidently steps in as Manager in Charge, running shifts smoothly, handling daily priorities with ease, and keeping our essential food safety standards spot-on.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll lead our Market Street craft teams with pride. You'll bring a \"sleeves rolled up\" attitude to make sure our counters are fully stocked, our foodmaker credentials shine, and our shoppers get the very best service.
