Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a client, a leading bakery business, for a Market Stall Person to support events and local markets in Swindon. You will set up bakery stalls, load and unload stock, and provide excellent customer service to maximise sales.

Role requires a full UK driving licence and customer service experience; training is provided, with focus on food safety and allergen handling. Weekly pay and staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must have Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points; no DR, DD or IN convictions).
• Customer service experience (sales experience desirable).
• Reliable, friendly and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run bakery stalls at markets and events.
• Load/unload van, equipment and stock.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maximise sales.
• Handle cash and complete end-of-day reporting (sales, wastage, feedback).
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Clean and return equipment and vehicle after each shift.

Market stall holder/ Van Driver - Events & Local Markets

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Various start times: 6:00am - 7:30am | Weekdays & Weekends

The Role:

• Set up and run bakery stalls at markets and events
• Load/unload van, equipment and stock

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
• Clean and return equipment and vehicle after each shift

Requirements:
