Job summary

Babcock in Andover is seeking a Training Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of training systems and solutions across maritime, naval and merchant marine sectors. The role is full time, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working patterns and travel to other sites nationally and internationally.

You will apply recognised training methodologies (SAT/Defence SAT, ADDIE) and guide bids, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering training systems and solutions within maritime, naval, or merchant marine sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the full training lifecycle (analysis, design, development, delivery, evaluation, assurance).
• Experience supporting training transformation initiatives within defence or other regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a subject matter expert providing guidance on training systems, learning technologies, and simulation solutions.
• Collaborating with operational, capability, training and bid teams to create new products and services.
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise training effectiveness and delivery.
