Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Design and Engineering Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across feasibility to handover on complex maritime infrastructure projects in the UK. You will steer design programmes, manage technical risk and ensure safety, quality and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Design Management and Engineering Leadership on complex infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical background in civil, structural, marine engineering.
  • Experience managing FEED, detailed design and design assurance processes.
  • Demonstrable success leading diverse engineering teams across disciplines.
  • Collaborative stakeholder engagement with clients, regulators and partners.
  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • A passion for technical excellence, innovation and sustainable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic Engineering and Design leadership during bids, tenders and project development.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through feasibility, FEED, detailed design and handover.
  • Manage design programmes, deliverables, risk, interfaces and change control.
  • Ensure constructability, maintainability and reliability across asset lifecycle.
  • Promote innovation in digital engineering and low-carbon infrastructure design.
