Qualifications

• Proven experience in Design Management and Engineering Leadership on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical background within civil, structural, marine or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience managing FEED, detailed design and design assurance processes.
• Demonstrable success leading diverse engineering teams and coordinating multiple technical disciplines.
• Collaborative stakeholder engagement skills with clients, contractors, regulators and project partners.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• A passion for technical excellence, innovation and developing sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept through FEED, detailed design, procurement support, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage design programmes, engineering deliverables, technical risk, interfaces and change control.
• Provide strategic Engineering and Design leadership during bids, tenders and project development activities.
• Act as the focal point for major maritime infrastructure projects.
• Drive development of innovative, practical and sustainable engineering solutions that meet client, operational and regulatory requirements.
• Embed health, safety and environmental considerations into all engineering and design solutions.
• Ensure effective integration across civil, structural, geotechnical, marine, mechanical and electrical functions.
• Ensure constructability, maintainability and reliability across the asset lifecycle.
• Support engineering teams in resolving complex technical challenges arising during design development and construction.
• Promote innovation in digital engineering, sustainability, climate adaptation and low-carbon infrastructure design.
