Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Field Support Engineer for its Maritime weapon systems, based 100% at Portsmouth Dockyard. You will join the Field Support Team to assist customers at UK and overseas locations, handling technical queries and improvements to ensure high availability and quality of MBDA products.

You must be a practical hands-on engineer with experience in defense environments, capable of working in a Contractor's Working Party and meeting BPSS checks after offer.

Qualifications

• Practical hands-on engineer with field support experience.
• Experience in naval/defense environments is advantageous.
• Willing to work at customer sites in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Provide Field Support to Maritime weapon systems at customer locations.
• Respond to technical queries promptly.
• Lead or participate in Contractor's Working Party.
• Ensure tools and equipment are calibrated and available.
• Support installation and commissioning activities.
