MBDA UK in Portsmouth is seeking a Field Support Engineer for its Maritime weapon systems. The role requires a hands-on engineer ready to work with missile designers, MOD and Royal Navy, including UK and international sites.

You will respond to technical queries, maintain tools and calibration, and lead or support field activities within MBDA’s approved scope, with potential to mentor junior staff. A strong customer‑facing capability is essential.

Competenze

• Experience as a hands-on engineer with weapon systems.
• Naval domain experience is advantageous.
• Security clearance requirements (BPSS) after offer.

Mansioni

• Respond to technical queries from the customer.
• Initiate and implement improvements to MBDA quality and product availability.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available, calibrate when needed.
• Support design, trials or projects and liaise with suppliers.
• May lead a Contractor’s Working Party at the Customer’s location.
• Mentor junior staff and add value quickly.
