Job summary

North Star is seeking a Crewing Coordinator to keep vessels safely crewed, compliant and operationally ready across our UK offshore fleet.

You will coordinate crew planning, workforce planning, seafarer management and crew mobilisation, while supporting recruitment, onboarding and payroll administration.

A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with strong organisational and communication skills is essential to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced maritime environment. Hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Experience in crewing, workforce planning, personnel logistics, seafarer management or operational coordination.
• Experience working within maritime, offshore, logistics, shipping or other operationally focused industries.
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
• A commitment to accuracy, compliance and delivering exceptional support to crews and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew planning, workforce planning, seafarer management and crew mobilisation across an assigned fleet.
• Maintain qualifications, certification and training for seafarers to support safe and compliant operations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and payroll administration.
• Help build a sustainable pipeline of maritime professionals for the future.
