Job summary

North Star, Aberdeen-based offshore vessel operator, is seeking a Cadet, Training & Competence Coordinator to join our Learning & Development team and help shape the next generation of maritime professionals.

You will coordinate learning activities, support cadet progression, maintain training and competence frameworks, and collaborate across fleet and shore operations to ensure workforce readiness and safe operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different. One day you could be supporting a cadet taking the next step in their maritime career, the next you could be working with operational leaders to ensure our workforce is trained, competent and ready to deliver for our customers.

You’ll coordinate learning and development activities, support cadet and trainee progression, and help maintain the training and competence frameworks that underpin workforce readiness across North Star. Working across fleet and shore operations, you’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute to the future capability of our business.

What We're Looking For

You may come from Learning & Development, HR, crewing, training coordination, workforce development or another operational support environment.
