Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Service Engineer to maximise customer uptime across marine aftersales, supporting dealers and OEMs. Based near Warwick with UK travel, you will diagnose technical issues, coordinate repairs, and deliver technical training where needed.

You will bring a strong engineering background, knowledge of marine engines and modern diagnostics, plus a valid UK driving licence. The role offers a pension, company car (electric or hybrid), healthcare and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Engineering or electrical qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of marine engines and modern control systems.
• Ability to investigate faults and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Good communication and willingness to travel.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical issues from initial complaint through resolution, coordinating repairs and aftermarket support.
• Investigate product quality concerns, identify root causes and implement containment actions.
• Provide technical support to dealers and OEMs on diagnostics and warranty requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical training for dealers and customers.
• Visit business partners to assess technical competence and service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support QA and warranty matters.
