Job summary

Cummins Inc in the United Kingdom (Wellingborough) is seeking a Placement Student for Marine Project Management & Business Support to gain hands-on experience within our Sales team for the Distribution Business Segment. You will work on cross-functional projects, support forecasting, reporting, and process improvement, and develop practical skills in project management and analytics.

The role runs as part of a placement year starting Summer 2027, offering exposure to a global industrial company

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or Marketing.
Experience with MS Office; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Customer management and cross-functional collaboration with project supply chain and engineering teams.
Forecasting sales in Europe and supporting Sales team communications.
Process improvement projects including identification and streamlining.
Financial reporting, forecasting, planning and analysis.
Project management support with supply chain, supplier, and customer communications.
Product tailoring and project reporting progress and risk.
