Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting for a Marine Installation Package Manager to lead the MIP and delivery team on a major offshore wind farm project in the UK. The role involves defining risks, budget, and programme, coordinating FEED and final design of foundations and IAC cables, and driving procurement and contract negotiations with tier-1 suppliers.

Lead the MIP and the associated project delivery team. Acting as the primary point of contact for all package matters liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Be responsible for defining and managing risks, budget, programme and resourcing for the package scope, within the overall project controls regime of the project. Oversee the FEED and final design of the WTG and OTM foundations and the IAC cables. Ensure execution phase documentation is developed to the correct standards. Lead the procurement and contracting activities related to the MIP scope in accordance with the project contracting strategy. Be responsible for contract negotiations and development with the tier 1 supply chain. Manage the contractors through the project execution phase to ensure compliance with all necessary project and contractual requirements. Take responsibility for the delivery of the scope in accordance with the project's quality standards, KPIs and the Quality Management Plan.
Degree or experience/training in relevant technical discipline such as Electrical/Mechanical/Structural/Marine Engineering or related discipline. Demonstrated track record as a project manager in offshore wind or subsea projects working at Package Manager level and preferably delivering offshore wind foundations and/or IAC cable packages. Experience with subsea surveys and engineering, cable manufacturing, marine installation and HV testing/commissioning. Strong commercial acumen within relevant contract frameworks. Ability to lead contract negotiations and demonstrated experience in managing tier 1 contracts.
