Job summary

Expleo Group is expanding its Marine Engineering Design capability and seeking an Associate Design Engineer to work on vessel design, CAD modelling, and related engineering consultancy services. The role involves creating 2D/3D CAD models, delivering design outputs, and supporting projects across UK maritime programmes.

Your primary place of work will be Derby, with opportunities to contribute to projects across commercial and naval marine domains while developing new tools and processes for

Qualifications

• Knowledge of parametric CAD systems in 3D and 2D
• Familiarity with shipbuilding terminology and practices
• Willingness to grow technical and behavioural competence
• Experience with regulated naval/marine environments desirable

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and drawings to required standards
• Ensure design deliverables are accurate and on time
• Coordinate with colleagues and stakeholders during design phases
• Provide technical support during construction and installation
• Self-verify work and report progress to management
