Job summary

Expleo is seeking an Associate Design Engineer to contribute to marine engineering design across UK naval programmes. The role involves creating 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, and design deliverables while coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.

You will help develop new tools and processes for maritime projects and support safety and quality requirements. Primary work location is Derby, with opportunities to engage across naval marine domains and client projects.

Qualifications

• NC/HNC or an equivalent qualification/experience in a relatable discipline.
• Ideal candidate will have postgraduate experience in naval maritime or a highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Design, Structural Design and Piping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and drawings to required standards.
• Ensure design deliverables are accurate and on time.
• Coordinate with colleagues and stakeholders across design phases.
