Involve Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a skilled CAD Designer for a growing international marine engineering company based in Cardiff, UK. You will convert engineering concepts and site data into accurate CAD drawings, supporting projects from concept through to as-built documentation.

Work with Mechanical Engineers and project teams to deliver installation-ready drawings, while developing expertise in marine design and related software.

Qualificações

• Proven ability to produce precise CAD drawings from sketches and surveys.
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy in all drawings.
• Able to interpret complex technical information and standards.
• Capable of juggling multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical and piping installations.
• Develop layouts, general arrangements, fabrication and installation drawings.
• Create equipment, skid and support details for projects.
• Translate sketches, surveys and engineering information into CAD designs.
• Amend and update drawings per project/client requirements.
• Prepare drawings to support manufacture and installation.
• Assist with site surveys and update existing drawings.
• Produce as-built drawings post-installation.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to deliver on time.
• Contribute to CAD libraries and standardised design solutions.
