Matchtech Group is recruiting for a CAD Systems Lead on the Isle of Wight. The role oversees the digital engineering environment for aluminium vessels, acting as the technical authority for CAD standards, data management, and software integration across marine disciplines.

You will lead CAD data systems, maintain SOLIDWORKS and CADMATIC, and drive design workflow improvements while supporting multiple CAD platforms, including AutoCAD.

Competenze

• Proven hands-on with SOLIDWORKS, 3D CAD and AutoCAD.
• Experience administering CAD environments, not just using CAD for design.
• Familiar with assemblies, libraries, templates and CAD standards.
• Experience troubleshooting CAD/engineering software issues.
• Strong knowledge of engineering data, file management and integration.

Mansioni

• Lead administration and ongoing improvement of CAD and engineering data systems.
• Own and maintain SOLIDWORKS and CADMATIC environments, including configuration and support.
• Develop and manage CAD standards, templates, libraries, assemblies and workflows.
• Provide technical guidance to Design, Engineering and Production teams.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of 2D drawings, 3D models and parts lists.
• Improve design processes, engineering efficiency and data management practices.
• Support information exchange between CAD platforms, including AutoCAD.
• Act as internal SME for CAD systems and engineering software.
