Job summary

Tradewinds Engineering Ltd in Taunton is seeking an HVACR Design Engineer to join our Marine HVACR division. You will lead design projects from initial survey to delivery, creating 2D/3D drawings and providing technical support throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires a strong background in Solidworks or AutoCad, meticulous documentation, and the ability to coordinate with clients and the Project Manager to meet time and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in HVACR design and drafting.
• Experience managing design projects from survey to completion.
• Excellent organisational and compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage new project enquiries from survey through to completion under the Project Manager.
• Create 2D/3D Solidworks/Autocad drawings or models.
• Carry out HVACR design reviews using suitable software.
• Define equipment sizing criteria and obtain supplier pricing.
• Produce technical manuals, schematics and electrical drawings.
• Oversee equipment quality control and project documentation.
