Baker Recruitment Group is pleased to be working alongside our client based in LS12. Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Team Leader to join this busy operation.

Shifts

1. Monday to Friday
2. 06.15am - 4.15pm
3. 4.15pm - 02.15am

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Shift Manager and assume management and operational responsibility for teams of Production Operators.
• Manage team performance to ensure departmental targets are met, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and other performance measures.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols, including work procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in implementing and maintaining housekeeping and safe working practices within the production area.
• Provide direction and guidance to production team members.
• Coordinate materials, allocate work, and enable effective team operation.
• Identify team members' strengths and weaknesses to develop training plans.
• Ensure effective training and development of team members.
• Assist in solving problems and resolving conflicts.
• Adhere to ISO9001 Quality systems and standards and be aware of ISO14001 Environmental Standards.
• Be accountable for the quality of products produced by the team.
• Act as a stand-in Shift Manager during holidays and sickness.
