Job summary

Curtiss-Wright seeks a Manufacturing Team Leader for our Christchurch, Dorset site. The role leads the assembly, test, inspection, rework and repair of products, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost targets are met, while complying with the QMS.

You will manage a multi-skilled team in a hybrid environment, aligning with production goals and supporting HR tasks to keep operations smooth and efficient. Relevant aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in electronic/pneumatics engineering and electrical/mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading a diverse multi-skilled manufacturing team is required.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the Assembly, Test, Inspection, Rework and Repair of products.
• Adhere to documented processes including the company QMS and ensure the same for all team members.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Complete HR tasks and administration for smooth operation of the team.
• Support a safe, collaborative and productive work environment using provided tools and processes.
• Assist the area supervisor as required.
