Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a Senior Test and Assembly Technician for our Christchurch site. You will assemble, test and repair products and customer returns following process instructions and the QMS to meet safety, quality and delivery requirements.

With a minimum of 2 years in electronics/pneumatics engineering and electrical/mechanical assembly, you will work in a collaborative team to support business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in electronic/pneumatics engineering and electrical/mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment and/or appropriate qualification(s).
• Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Committed to Health and Safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, inspect, rework and repair product as required by the team leader, supervisor or manager.
• Follow documented processes and the company QMS to meet quality and delivery targets.
• Support a safe, collaborative and productive work environment using provided tools and procedures.

Your Challenge

Assemble, Test, Inspect, Rework and Repair product as required by your Team leader, Supervisor or Manager to support achievement of the business goals and objectives in the area's of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Understand and adhere to documented business processes and requirements, including but not limited to the company Quality Management system (QMS). Support your team and the wider business in the creation of a Safe, Collaborative and Productive environment through active use of provided tools and processes.

What You Bring

• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Minimum 2 years experience in electronic/pneumatics engineering and electrical/mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment and/or appropriate Qualification(s).
• Team Player.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated, able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Undertake all assigned activities in a disciplined and professional manner demonstrate a good understanding and awareness of Health and safety in the workplace.
• Committed to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
