Job summary

IPL, Forza & Kober in the United Kingdom seeks an Area Trainer to develop and deliver training across site teams. You will create, maintain and evolve training materials and SOPs, ensuring regulatory and mandatory training is effective and engaging for diverse learners.

You will monitor progress, log training in the database and coordinate with Operations SLT to meet the ongoing plan. A proactive trainer with coaching experience and H&S knowledge is ideal.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Operations/Factory/Production site.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
• Train the trainer qualification or willingness to undertake.
• Experience coaching colleagues with mixed abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Track record of delivering/consolidating KPIs.
• Desire to improve training effectiveness with new ideas.
• Strong problem solving and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain and evolve training material and SOPs.
• Plan and deliver engaging regulatory and mandatory training.
• Provide learners with policies, SOPs and regulations information.
• Maintain training database and log training within timescales.
• Monitor learner progress via feedback and manager discussions.
• Collaborate with senior teams to align training with operational plans.
• Ensure key performance measures are consistently delivered.
• Induct and train new colleagues with timely follow-up training.
