Hales Group are assisting with a manufacturing site vacancy for an experienced Site Supervisor/Manager. The role focuses on safe, efficient day-to-day site operation, contractor oversight and logistics across a manufacturing site in Ipswich.

Ideal candidates will have NEBOSH certification, proven leadership in industrial environments and a strong track record in safety compliance, budgeting and operational excellence. Salary is £45,000 per annum and typical weekday hours apply.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is essential.
• Experience managing operations in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong health & safety knowledge with permits, contractors and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead health, safety and environmental activities ensuring compliance.
• Oversee contractors including inductions, risk assessments and permits-to-work.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, dispatches and storage operations.
• Develop and manage site budget for cost control and efficiency.
• Ensure maintenance, engineering and project work meet site procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, investigations and implement corrective actions.
