Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd. seeks an experienced Head of Health, Safety & Environment to lead HSE across a manufacturing site in Gainsborough. You will own risk management, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement, guiding a dedicated HSE team and collaborating with senior management.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, strong leadership, and extensive knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Salary £55,000-£70,000, permanent, full-time with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk management.
• Experience leading audits, investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement programs.
• Ability to advise senior management and influence decisions across a business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the site's health, safety and environmental strategy.
• Provide professional advice to directors, managers and employees.
• Maintain and improve HSE management systems, policies and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and ISO 45001/ISO 14001 standards.
• Set objectives, monitor performance and report on HSE matters to senior management.
• Develop and deliver improvement plans with monitored progress.
