Job summary

Hales Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced EHS Manager for our Beccles site. You will own site-wide EHS activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, driving a positive safety culture and ensuring legislative compliance across the site.

As the appointed EHS lead you will manage policies, lead audits, and develop the EHS team to deliver best practice. This role requires a proactive, solution-focused approach and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or NEBOSH qualification with CPD.
• Experience leading EHS in a manufacturing site.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5S and Kaizen.
• Proven track record delivering continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU health and safety legislation.
• Experience with risk assessments and accident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update EHS policies, procedures and documentation.
• Ensure EHS systems and documentation remain compliant and aligned with business objectives.
• Lead EHS improvement projects across the site.
• Develop and lead the EHS team to meet site safety objectives.
• Produce and review risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Lead internal and external audits and coordinate audit activities.
