Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Bristol is seeking a Manufacturing Services Engineer onsite to coordinate and implement the Manufacturing Services strategy in Defence, supporting production with maintenance and inspection activities. You will report to the Vice President - Manufacturing Services and work within a team to ensure objectives are delivered across the Bristol site.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship to NVQ level 3/4 or equivalent, experience in manufacturing environments, and

Qualifications

Engineering apprenticeship to NVQ level 3,4 or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing environments and with plant & equipment.
Experience of working with external Service Providers including Contractor Management.

Responsibilities

Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to deliver Equipment Management strategy across a Manufacturing Facility and oversee maintenance planning and statutory compliance.
Collaborate with External Service Providers to establish and manage robust service level agreements.
Engage Capability Acquisition teams to understand equipment and machinery requirements.
Participate in the down-selection process to ensure equipment is capable, safe and ready for operations.
Use data and proactive techniques to optimise plant equipment performance and understand asset failures to prevent recurrence.
