Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Bristol is seeking experienced Lifecycle Engineers to support Defence projects. You will work across development, certification, in-service support and maintenance to ensure safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness throughout the product life cycle.

Responsibilities include interfacing with Operators and Regulators, driving design improvements, and developing health monitoring and support strategies. A UK national security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or related engineering field is required.
• Numerical and analytical skills are essential for lifecycle analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are important for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in safety, reliability, lifecycle engineering or maintainability is valued.

Responsibilities

• Act as Customer Engineering interface with Operators, Partners and Regulators.
• Manage issues affecting Maturity, Lifecycle Cost, Reliability and Maintainability through design.
• Prepare and deliver technical communications to regulators, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Influence product design using in-service experience and develop support strategies across the lifecycle.
• Set reliability targets based on historical data and monitor against targets.
• Lead and integrate Health Monitoring system requirements and identify new capabilities.
