Job summary

Essity is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement. You will establish standards, support operations, and apply Global Manufacturing Excellence principles to deliver safer, higher-quality and more efficient production.

With early-career engineers as a focus, the role emphasizes analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on development in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Early experience in manufacturing or production environment or demonstrated potential through academic projects.
• Strong analytical and technical understanding of machinery, processes and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize production processes using Statistical Process Control methodologies to improve efficiency and performance.
• Define, implement and maintain process settings and standards such as centerlining and CIL practices.
• Lead root cause analysis and standardization initiatives to sustainably enhance production outcomes.
• Act as the process and technology expert within the area and translate production data into actionable insights.
• Train and coach production teams to ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Support product/material development and project implementation using Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
