Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Production Engineer for an established Oil & Gas company in Aberdeen. You will ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively to meet quality standards.

You will support engineering activities on the shop floor, ensuring tooling, documentation and processes are implemented and continuously improved. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and focuses on implementing improvements, reviewing drawings and BOMs, and enabling smooth

Qualifications

• Experience in Production/Manufacturing engineering.
• Experience supporting shop floor production activities and manufacturing documentation is desirable.
• Experience with tooling and continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and methods.
• Provide technical support to production teams.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support on the shop floor, resolving manufacturing and assembly issues.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation to ensure manufacturability.
• Support the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturing.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate production and engineering records.
• Support the transition of new and existing products from design to production.
