Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for Blow Moulding in Manchester. You will lead the site to deliver performance targets, ensure safety and quality, and embed continuous improvement across people, plant, and processes.

You will coach and develop teams, align operational routines with PMS, and collaborate with engineering to maximise site capability and governance. This is a high-visibility leadership role within a major FMCG business.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).
• Experience delivering manufacturing performance metrics.
• Track record in continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong people leadership with coaching and succession planning.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality and environmental standards.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships.

At Müller Milk & Ingredients, we're looking for a Manufacturing Manager to lead our Blow Moulding operation. This is a key leadership role responsible for creating and embedding a culture that enables our people to deliver business targets, continuously improve performance, and drive Manufacturing Excellence across the site. • Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG, food, beverage, dairy, packaging, or process manufacturing.
• Strong experience leading operational teams and delivering key manufacturing performance metrics.
• Demonstrable success in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence programmes.
• Excellent people leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring and developing teams.
• Experience implementing Performance Management Systems and structured operational routines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• A thorough understanding of Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental and compliance standards.
• Experience managing performance, absence, development planning and employee engagement activities.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and build collaborative relationships across site functions.
