Job summary

Müller is seeking a hands‑on engineering leader in Skelmersdale to drive high‑profile capital projects across a major FMCG site. You’ll influence senior site leadership and oversee delivery from concept through to commissioning, balancing cost, schedule and risk.

The role requires a degree in engineering and a track record of delivering capital projects in manufacturing, with strong stakeholder management and a passion for operational excellence.

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver CAPEX projects within a manufacturing setting, ideally FMCG, food, beverage or dairy.
• Manage budgets, timelines, contractors and project risks.
• Operate in live production environments with minimal disruption.

What you'll bring

• Degree, HNC or HND qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or a related Engineering discipline.


• Proven experience delivering CAPEX projects within a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG, food, beverage or dairy.


• Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, contractors and project risks.


• Experience working within live operational environments and delivering projects with minimal business disruption.


• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.


• Working knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project and engineering design software such as AutoCAD.


• A passion for continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence.


• Full UK Driving Licence.
