Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital investment initiatives at the Skelmersdale site. You will drive delivery of capital projects, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role offers exposure to senior site leadership, sustainability goals and opportunities to advance within a large, multi-site dairy business. A relevant engineering degree and strong PM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience delivering CAPEX projects within a manufacturing environment (FMCG, dairy, food or beverage).
• Strong PM skills: budgets, timelines, contractors and project risks.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering capital projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

At Müller Milk & Ingredients, we're investing heavily in the future of our operations through a well-funded programme of engineering and infrastructure upgrades. We're looking for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of capital investment projects across our Skelmersdale site, helping to drive growth, automation, sustainability and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be trusted to manage multiple projects, influence key stakeholders and drive meaningful change across the site.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree, HNC or HND qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or a related Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience delivering CAPEX projects within a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG, food, beverage or dairy.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, contractors and project risks.
• Experience working within live operational environments and delivering projects with minimal business disruption.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Working knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project and engineering design software such as AutoCAD.
• A passion for continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
