Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Witney, United Kingdom, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, monitor equipment performance and contribute to efficiency improvements on bespoke automated equipment.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship or related degree, experience with machine tools, fault finding and continuous improvement, in a clean room/regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or higher education qualification (ONC/HNC/HND or degree) in a related subject.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with setup of precision assemblies, machine tools, fault finding and problem solving.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to communicate across departments and maintain quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, maintain and continually improve bespoke automated equipment and processes.
• Provide assistance to Projects Team when implementing changes to equipment.
• Maintain high standards of record keeping in line with quality systems.
