Job summary

Abbott is seeking multi-skilled Support Engineers for its Witney site to maintain bespoke automated equipment in a clean-room environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, monitor equipment performance and support project changes to improve yields and efficiency.

The role includes 4 on 4 off days and nights rotations, with opportunities to contribute to continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of an engineering apprenticeship or higher education in a related subject.
• Ability to fault find and solve problems on bespoke automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to fault find, maintain and improve bespoke automated equipment and processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns to support manufacturing operations.
• Assist Projects Team in implementing changes to equipment and improve process yields.
