Bam Recruitment Ltd is partnering with an established engineering and manufacturing business in Weston-Super-Mare to recruit a Forklift Driver / Logistics Operative.

This hands-on role covers the warehouse and wider site, ensuring materials and products move smoothly. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, handle loading/unloading, and support stock control with a proactive, team-friendly approach.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence required.
• Valid driving licence required.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing preferred.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Awareness of Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

Forklift Driver / Logistics Operative - Weston-Super-Mare

We're looking for a Forklift / Logistics Operative to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in Weston-Super-Mare.

This is a hands-on role, working across the warehouse and wider site to keep materials and products moving where they need to be. Alongside forklift work, there will be general warehouse and logistics duties, so we're looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and be part of the team.

What you’ll be doing

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely around the site
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving and storing materials and finished products
• Picking, preparing and dispatching goods
• Keeping stock and warehouse areas organised
• Checking deliveries and reporting any discrepancies
• Supporting the wider production and logistics team when needed
• Following site Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices

What we’re looking for

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and a valid driving licence
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing
• Comfortable working as part of a team but also able to get on with things independently
• Good awareness of Health & Safety
• Comfortable with manual handling and a hands-on working environment
• Basic computer skills would be useful, particularly for stock control
