Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking a detail-driven Manufacturing Logistics Operator to synchronize raw materials with production schedules and manage the dispatch of finished goods. You will link suppliers, the shop floor, and customers, ensuring timely delivery and compliant, safe packaging.

The role requires hands-on experience in ERP modules, ability to read basic drawings, and a lean mindset (5S/Kanban/JIT). A forklift license is desirable; 33 days holiday and health benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or engineering warehouse environment.
• Forklift Truck (FLT) Counterbalance or Reach license is desirable.
• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Supply Chain or Warehouse & Storage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Goods In & Production: receive materials, verify against POs and CoCs; perform visual inspections for transit damage; kit components and deliver just-in-time to production.
• Shipping & Outbound: oversee packing, ensure proper packaging; prepare technical shipping documents (HS codes, origin certificates, DG notes); update ERP from WIP to Finished Goods.
• Manufacturing requirements: ERP proficiency for tracking part numbers and batches; read basic technical drawings; knowledge of 5S/Kanban/JIT is desirable.
