Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking a meticulous Manufacturing Logistics Operator in Great Yarmouth to keep materials, production, and shipping perfectly in sync. You’ll act as the pivotal link between suppliers, shop floor, and customers, ensuring timely material arrival and compliant dispatch of finished goods.

The role requires 2+ years in a manufacturing/engineering warehouse, with forklift experience preferred and a NVQ Level 2/3 in supply chain.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing or engineering warehouse environment.
• Forklift Truck (FLT) Counterbalance or Reach license desirable.
• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Supply Chain or Warehouse & Storage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Goods In & Production Support: Receive raw materials and verify against POs/CoCs; inspect for transit damage.
• Quality Gatekeeping: initial visual inspections; escalate issues to QC before items reach line.
• Kitting & Feeding: kit components and deliver to production cells just-in-time (JIT).
• Shipping & Outbound: pack finished goods; ensure compliant packing; prepare shipping docs for domestic and international freight.
• System Integrity: update ERP to reflect WIP to Finished Goods.
