Job summary

Biotage in Stonehouse is seeking a proactive Logistics Technician to manage material flow from receipt through production to dispatch. This hands-on role supports stock control and production teams to ensure smooth operations.

You will use MRP/ERP systems, maintain stock levels, and coordinate with production. A forklift licence is desirable but not essential, and you’ll thrive in a busy manufacturing environment in Stonehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience using MRP/ERP systems.
• Previous logistics, warehouse or stores experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
• Proactive, reliable and able to manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and process incoming goods.
• Stage materials for production.
• Maintain consumable stock levels.
• Prepare and dispatch finished goods.
• Support stock checks and inventory control.
• Keep warehouse and stores areas clean, safe and organised.
• Work closely with Production and Operations teams to ensure efficient material flow.
