Job summary

Mane is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a multi-functional production team delivering composite and metallic assemblies to cost, quality and schedule targets.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Design and Operations to ensure manufacturing deliverables integrate into the final product. This role drives process improvements in a growing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant manufacturing, engineering or technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing teams within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Strong experience in people management and leadership.
• Experience in growth, startup, transformation or new product introduction environments.
• Proven experience implementing continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing practices.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Manufacturing function with direct workforce up to 100 as the business grows.
• Develop and deliver manufacturing and industrialisation strategies.
• Manage day-to-day production resources, work planning and team allocation.
• Ensure production targets are met across health & safety, cost, quality and schedule.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Design and Operations.
• Promote Health & Safety culture across the plant.
• Develop and mentor Operational Leads and Team Leaders.
• Lead production meetings, visual management and daily governance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and 5S.
• Support recruitment and workforce planning for the team.
• Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain high housekeeping and organisation across the factory.
• Carry out other management responsibilities as required.
