Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Manager to lead shop floor operations and drive production efficiency. You will own the flow of work on site, plan labour and materials, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have solid mechanical manufacturing experience, proven leadership, and the ability to read drawings. Experience with lean improvement and ERP systems will be advantageous in this growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical manufacturing experience.
• Previous production or workshop leadership.
• Confident reading of drawings and technical information.
• Experience driving lean/continuous improvement.
• Strong organiser and team leader.
• Familiar with ERP systems and MS Office.
• CAD experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day production and keep jobs moving.
• Plan labour and materials so work can start on time.
• Lead and brief the team each day.
• Work closely with design, quality, purchasing and management.
• Track output, quality and despatch performance.
• Improve processes, layouts and lead times.
• Maintain safety standards and accurate production records.
