Job summary

Interface Recruitment is hiring a Manufacturing IT Manager UK for a multi-site food manufacturer in the East Yorkshire region. The role focuses on IT operations, cyber security, and ERP reliability in a high-availability production environment.

You’ll own day-to-day IT service delivery, lead site-based IT support, and manage a mixed estate spanning Microsoft 365, Windows, networks, and factory systems such as MES, SCADA and OT connectivity.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in IT operations within manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure, networks, Microsoft 365, and operational support.
• Experience improving cyber security posture across identity, endpoints and access controls.
• Experience supporting ERP and coordinating with production/engineering teams on factory systems.
• Vendor management, SLAs, renewals, and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of IT operations across production and office environments with a balance of stability and improvement.
• Lead site IT support and service delivery with ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management.
• Manage site infrastructure (Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, M365, patching, backups).
• Oversee plant networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, Wi‑Fi) and OT connectivity.
• Drive cyber security controls (MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint protection, threat management).
• Support and govern manufacturing tech (ERP ownership, MES/SCADA/OT liaison, vendor management).
• Manage vendors and budgets (MSP, telecoms, licensing, renewals).
• Deliver end-to-end projects with scoping, business cases, Go-Live support and post-implementation reviews.
