Job summary

Continuum Recruitment Group is supporting a confidential manufacturing group with the appointment of a Financial Controller.

The role leads a small finance team and works closely with the Managing Director to improve financial visibility, strengthen cost controls and support operational decision-making, with a specific focus on manufacturing cost accounting, margins and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with manufacturing experience.
• Strong background in cost accounting and margin improvement.
• Proven ability to deliver robust management accounts and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small finance team responsible for management accounts, reporting and controls.
• Partner with MD and operational leadership to identify opportunities for improved performance and profitability.
• Develop visibility of manufacturing costs, product margins and operational efficiencies.
• Improve financial systems, processes and quality of management information.
• Support wider group reporting and growth ambitions.
