Job summary

Continuum Recruitment Group is supporting a confidential manufacturing group with the appointment of a Financial Controller.

The role leads a small finance team and works closely with the Managing Director to improve financial visibility, strengthen cost controls and support operational decision-making, with a specific focus on manufacturing cost accounting, margins and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with manufacturing experience.
• Strong background in cost accounting and margin improvement.
• Proven ability to deliver robust management accounts and financial controls.

We're supporting an established manufacturing group with the confidential appointment of a Financial Controller to join one of its key operating businesses.

With annual revenues in the low tens of millions and ambitious plans for growth, the business is looking for a commercially minded finance leader who can work closely with the Managing Director to improve financial visibility, strengthen cost controls and support operational decision-making.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a particular focus on manufacturing cost accounting, margin improvement and driving greater efficiency across the business.

The opportunity:

• Partner directly with the MD and operational leadership to identify opportunities for improved performance and profitability.
• Develop greater visibility of manufacturing costs, product margins and operational efficiencies.

We're particularly interested in speaking with qualified accountants who have strong experience within manufacturing environments, ideally involving steel, fabrication or other cost-intensive production processes.
