W Talent Finance is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in the East Midlands to recruit a Finance Business Partner. You will work closely with the Finance Director to manage day-to-day financial operations and provide timely, meaningful financial information.

This hands-on role focuses on month-end processes, financial reporting accuracy, robust controls, and understanding cost drivers.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as Financial Controller, Finance Manager or equivalent hands-on role.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering or complex operational business is essential.
• Strong technical accounting skills with ownership of month-end reporting and controls.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of monthly management accounts and timely reporting.
• Prepare and review P&L, balance sheets, cash flow and schedules.
• Manage month-end/year-end processes with robust financial controls.
• Analyze performance vs budget/forecast, investigate variances and highlight focus areas.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand cost drivers and improve visibility.
