A reputable UK manufacturing firm is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee site-level financial management on a 12-month maternity cover contract in Blackburn, England. The role includes producing timely management accounts, managing audits, and ensuring financial discipline. Ideal candidates will possess strong management accounting skills, preferably with manufacturing experience, and must be able to work independently. Competitive salary of £50,000 – £55,000, plus a contract completion bonus, is offered alongside additional benefits including a 10% pension contribution.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing finance environment is preferred.
• Ability to produce full management accounts independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead month-end processes including payroll postings.
• Manage annual audit and liaise with auditors.
• Support the SAP migration for streamlined reporting.
