Job summary

About the Job

I am an experienced Finance Business Partner specialising in manufacturing environments, providing accurate financial insight, cost control, and performance improvement. I work closely with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making, improve profitability, and ensure strong financial governance across multiple sites.

Duties

• Produce monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and KPIs
• Manage and control P&L and Balance Sheet for multiple entities
• Prepare and deliver budgets and forecasts with a high degree of accuracy
• Analyse pricing and margins to support commercial decision-making
• Monitor and control capital expenditure, including project appraisal
• Lead regular on-site reviews with stakeholders and budget holders
• Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations to identify risks
• Implement and maintain financial controls across sites and departments
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Partner with operations and sales teams to drive performance and cost control

Experience Required

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA)
• Strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering
• Manufacturing or operational finance experience (desirable)
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
• Experience with ERP systems (including JDE) and reporting tools
• Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and cost drivers
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage deadlines effectively
