Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking proactive Manufacturing Expediters to support a critical recovery programme in a fast-paced Gloucestershire manufacturing environment. You will coordinate 25–30 critical orders, track progress, and collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics and Suppliers to remove delays and hit recovery milestones.

The role requires strong self-motivation, organization and the ability to influence across departments.

Qualifications

• You don\'t need to be a manager, but you must be someone who gets things done and can coordinate across multiple teams.
• Strong self-motivation, organization and action-orientation are essential.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and to challenge delays when needed.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or ShopVue is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage 25-30 critical Manufacturing Orders.
• Track orders through every stage of production.
• Work with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, Special Processes and Suppliers.
• Remove delays, bottlenecks and waiting time.
• Escalate issues and drive rapid resolution.
• Monitor recovery plans and ensure commitments are met.
• Produce daily status reports and recovery metrics.
• Support weekly recovery reviews.

£30-35 per hour Inside IR35
