Job summary

Expleo are recruiting for 4 Expediters to join our aerospace client in Gloucestershire. You will own critical parts and recovery-plan orders from release to shipment, driving on-time delivery and adherence to recovery plans through proactive follow-up and cross-functional coordination.

You will track parts through manufacturing, remove delays, and coordinate with Schedulers, Production Managers, Quality Technicians, Logistics and Operators to maintain flow and resolve constraints.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP, MES systems and production-flow principles.
• Highly organized, proactive, delivery-focused and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of critical parts and recovery-plan orders from release through shipment.
• Track critical parts through every manufacturing operation and support function.
• Eliminate waiting time and non-value-added delays between operations.
• Ensure every critical part has a defined next action, owner or recovery plan.
• Coordinate with Schedulers, Production Managers/Team Leaders, Quality Technicians, Logistics and Operators.
• Lead daily critical-part reviews and communicate priorities to Schedulers.
• Escalate and resolve operational constraints and shortages.
• Monitor recovery plans and challenge priorities to protect delivery commitments.
• Support reducing manufacturing lead time and improving on-time delivery.

Job description

Overview

Expleo are currently recruiting for 4-off Expediters to work with a global Aerospace client.

Expediters operate within the scheduling team and act as the owners of critical parts and recovery-plan orders once released to production.

Through proactive follow-up and cross-functional coordination, they help secure on-time delivery and strict adherence to recovery plans.

They ensure uninterrupted flow through the manufacturing process by identifying and eliminating waiting time, coordinating priorities across functions, and driving rapid resolution of constraints.

Their primary objective is to accelerate throughput and ensure strict adherence to recovery plans and secure on-time delivery commitments.

They provide close, day-to-day coordination for critical parts and recovery-plan items, ensuring seamless progression through every production step.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of critical parts and recovery-plan orders from release through shipment.
• Conduct tracking of critical parts through every manufacturing operation and support function.
• Identify and eliminate waiting time and non-value-added delays between operations.
• Ensure no critical part remains without a defined next action, owner or recovery plan.
• Coordinate closely with Schedulers, Production Managers/Team Leaders, Quality Technicians, Logistics teams and Operators, to remove obstacles and maintain flow.
• Lead daily critical-part reviews and communicate priorities through Schedulers.
• Drive escalation and resolution of operational constraints and shortages.
• Track adherence to recovery plans and challenge priorities where required to protect delivery commitments.
• Support reduction of manufacturing lead time and improvement of on-time delivery performance.

Essential skills

• Knowledge of SAP, MES systems and production-flow principles.
• Candidates will be rated on their experience, exuberance and willingness to get involved. Being highly organized, proactive, delivery-focused and results-oriented is essential

Desired skills

• Strong communication and influencing skills across multiple operational teams.
• Proven problem-solving and escalation-management capability.

Experience

• Candidates with experience with one or more of the following will be held in high regard
• Experience in production control, manufacturing operations or shop-floor coordination.
