Job summary

Akkodis in Gloucester is recruiting several Manufacturing Expediters to support a major aerospace manufacturing programme. These hands‑on operational roles drive critical orders through the factory, remove bottlenecks and ensure customer delivery commitments are met.

You will work with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics and Supply Chain teams to own high‑priority orders, monitor progress, escalate delays and support recovery plans to improve production flow.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of production control processes.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple departments in a factory.
• Understanding of material control and handling.
• Experience coordinating supply chain activities and suppliers.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Track critical manufacturing orders from release through to completion.
• Drive actions to reduce waiting time and remove production constraints.
• Coordinate priority activities across multiple departments and suppliers.

• Day Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
• Bridging/Late Shift: 14:00 - 22:00
• Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00

We're recruiting several Manufacturing Expediters to support a major aerospace manufacturing programme in Gloucester. These are hands‑on operational roles focused on driving critical manufacturing orders through the factory, removing bottlenecks and ensuring customer delivery commitments are achieved.

Working closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics and Supply Chain teams, you'll take ownership of high‑priority orders, monitor progress through the manufacturing process and coordinate actions to keep parts moving. You'll be expected to identify delays, escalation quickly and work with stakeholders across the business to support recovery plans and improve overall production flow.
