Job summary

Essity is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Manager for its Prudhoe site in the UK. You will spearhead and implement change aligned with business needs to meet and enhance customer and supply objectives, driving TPM-based Manufacturing Excellence standards and autonomous maintenance mindset across the site.

You will build the site talent pipeline by leading graduate and apprentice schemes while ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met.

• Extensive manufacturing experience within a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and manufacturing standards.
• Proven experience improving processes and delivering results.
• Proven people management skills, with coaching and capability experience.

• Drive site development and optimise utilisation with key stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement action plans across site and develop self-sufficient teams with an Autonomous Maintenance mindset.
• Lead the Process Engineer Graduate and Technical Apprentice Schemes to build internal capability.

In this role, you will spearhead and implement change in alignment with business requirements, ensuring that customer and supply objectives are met and enhanced through internal development. About the Role You will drive the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence standards through TPM methodology , including AM/PM, DOM, problem solving and technical capability. You will build the site talent pipeline by leading the Process Engineer Graduate and Technical Apprentice Schemes while developing internal capability to meet current and future needs. Leadership and Site Strategy

• Degree in Process, Production Engineering or a related discipline advantageous
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and manufacturing standards
• Proven experience improving processes and delivering results
• Proven people management skills, with coaching and capability experience
  Prudhoe is Essity's largest site in the UK and is also an integrated site. Employing around 400 people, Prudhoe makes brands such as Velvet and Cushelle. Prudhoe also makes own brand label products for UK customers such as Asda.
